The hotel’s 35-acre property is only minutes from the entrance to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.
Hotel Fonda Vela has two restaurants. The elegant and spacious Galleria seats 100, and has walls of large windows with beautiful, tropical views. Sometimes, cute, wild animals come to the windows to watch the diners! The cozy Fireside Room seats 40 and is accentuated by the crackle and dancing flames of a wood-burning fireplace. Terrace seating on the balcony offer views of the Gulf of Nicoya. The sunsets are truly beautiful.
The Canopy Bar is a full service bar offering our own exotic beverages. The bar’s TV, of course, brings you the current sports events.
The pool is perfect for a good exercise before dinner, also you can enjoy a drink at the bar overlooking the sunset. We offer lockers, dressers, showers and restrooms on the first level for the best comfort of our guest.
