Suria Mountain Hotel is a cozy 22 room family run lodge located in the pristine San Gerardo de Dota Valley, amidst Los Quetzales National Park, one of the best destinations for incredible birding, including the Resplendent Quetzal, local Hummingbird species and much more. Suria Lodge is located in Savegre, Costa Rica, amidst the San Gerardo de Dota Valley and the mighty and pristine Savegre River. We are home of the Quetzal`s favorite habitat, the endless cloud forests; a paradise for birding tours and an unforgettable birdwatching Experience.
Suria Lodge is a small family run mountain hotel, famous for a very personalized service. The owner Hilda Sandi and her family will personally take care while you are in the area. The rooms are distributed throughout the 10 acre property, surrounded by creeks, farms, cloud forests and wildlife.
The restaurant is the perfect place to be during the later afternoon and evening, while the climate gets colder and colder. You will enjoy the homemade cuisine; enjoy trout, local specialties, typical food and the use of fresh local produce. Enjoy some drinks at the bar or a hot coffee.
