Tirimbina is an educational, scientific and ecotourism destination, situated between the forests and rivers of the northern region of Costa Rica.
Tirimbina offers education programs for primary schools, high schools and university students, as well as facilities for study groups, volunteers and researchers, highlighting the biodiversity and conservation of the rainforest.

The lodge is located on the Sarapiquí River, surrounded by lush gardens, and offers three lodging areas for you to choose from.
The restaurant is a spacious, roofed area, with a natural atmosphere where visitors may relax, watch TV, eat or simply have a cup of coffee. This is a good spot to watch birds while dining on traditional Costa Rican food. The restaurant has ceiling fans, bathrooms and an area with drinks (cold water, coffee and tea)..
The hanging gardens allow for the observation of a variety of birds, amongst which is the elusive and beautiful Black-crested Coquette hummingbird.
