Poas Volcano, Doka & Sarapiqui River Adventure 4 in 1

This full day adventure includes a visit and tour to Doka Estates coffee plantation where a delicious typical breakfast will be served afterwards. The tour will then continue to one of the country’s most visited volcanoes, Poas on the way passing La Paz Waterfall, one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Costa Rica.

Upon arriving at the village of Puerto Viejo de Sarapiqui, you will board the boat to continue the adventure for 1 ½ hours along the Sarapiqui River during which you will have the opportunity to observe the exuberant fauna and flora of the region such as toucans, monkeys, sloths, crocodiles, alligators and other species.

At the end of the boat ride, you will arrive at the private reserve of MADERO NEGRO, to enjoy an authentic Costa Rican lunch.

The adventure includes a visit to the butterfly garden and snake and frog sanctuaries.

The trip back to San Jose passes will take you past breathtaking scenery along the Braulio Carillo National Park where there will be a stop for a cup of freshly brewed coffee.

Departure from San José: 6:30 a.m.

Return to San José: 04:30 p.m.
